I am an anesthesiologist/intensivist who came to Canada in 2009 as a fellow in critical care medicine. Since 2012 I work as a physician in critical care medicine in Calgary, AB (independent practice permit). Despite my valuable credentials from Europe, and my extensive training in the Czech Republic, Ireland and Canada I am licensed only as a non-specialist and my options are highly limited to night, weekend and holiday service only. After I completed my basic science research project, obtained my master's in critical care medicine, published my thesis and several manuscripts in high impact factor journals I decided to pass the LMCC and proceed with the RCPSC certification to be recognized as a specialist in Canada. I finished my medical school in 1994 and ever since I was highly specialized in anesthesia and critical care medicine - providing anesthesia services for the sickest patients and treating critically ill. Coming back to basics of medicine was quite challenging for me. In September 2014, I passed my MCCEE. I used QBank as a single resource for my preparation: I did all the tests, read all the explanations thoroughly and watched all the videos. The questions I answered wrong I did twice. I refreshed my knowledge quite broadly and scored above average in all but one (OBG) disciplines. I am quite happy about it, although I am not sure if this score would be sufficient to match for the residency. However, I will proceed with MCCQE1 in spring 2017. For this preparation I will use QBank again plus some sections from Toronto Notes or other resources (I found TN quite superficial and hard to utilize, possibly useful only for memorization not for understanding of the topic). Canada QBank is an excellent resource for study preparation. The tests resemble the real test by 80 - 90%. I found the explanatory texts and the videos very useful: straight forward, easy to read, easy to understand and remember. I would recommend this resource as a primary study material for anyone in preparation for LMCC.

I am a UK trained Doctor (graduated in 2009) and qualified as a Family Physician (GP) in 2017. I have worked in the UK all this time and sat many exams. I used Canadaqbank after a friend of mine used it for MCCQE 1 and he was successful on his first attempt. I read a lot of information on which resources to use to pass. I started canadaqbank MCCQE 1 question bank and found it very good for understanding the terminology used in Canadian exams and practice. I felt it was invaluable in helping me achieve a pass and 265 on my first attempt in Jan 2020 sitting. I used it for 2 months and completed all the questions in this time. The answer explanation are invaluable and I would recommend everyone to spend the time and read the them thoroughly rather than reading countless text books. I felt confident going into the exam and felt prepared. Passing was a great achievement and I would recommend canadaqbank to anyone in the future. Good luck all !

For background, I was a 4th year medical student when I took the MCCQE part 1. CanadaQBank was very helpful in providing good exam practice for the part 1. I found the short answer especially being useful because there are limited other options to help give you practice in that aspect, and they were quite challenging, so doing well on the short answer was good in preparing you for the actual MCCQE part 1. I passed the MCCQE part 1 with help from the CanadaQBank, I feel lucky that I was able to use this resource. I would definitely recommend it as a resource for the MCCQE.

I was not so sure of how I will start reviewing for the Australian Medical Council MCQ Exams. It had been a very long time since I last took my licensure exams in the Philippines and in Saudi Arabia. Totally in panic, I read the book prescribed but it only worsened the confusion. One of my friends suggested that I try CanadaQBank, so I did. From the time that I started with CanadaQBank, everything just fell into its proper place. I concentrated on all the questions and explanations for each answers. Tried their practice exams .... I never felt so ready for AMC ! After the exams, I knew I had a chance to pass... and I did! Thank you so much CanadaQBank for your very extensive review questions. The explanations for the answers in every questions helped me understand the principles behind every answers. I could have not done it without your guidance. I had started recommending you to all the IMG's that are struggling to study for the exams... Keep up your very high standards! Kuddos to everyone at CanadaQBank!

1. At the time of using the Qbank, I was a Canadian Studying Abroad at the University of Queensland in Australia. Recently graduated with MD in December 2019. Previous education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) with 2 years of work experience prior to commencing medical school. 2. I used Canada Qbank intermittently over an 8 month period (used both the MCCQE1 Qbank and the MCCEE Qbank). Nearly completed one pass through of both question banks. I also used a USMLE Qbank to prepare for the MCCQE1. Overall, I felt that using multiple resources lead to a successful result. The MCCQE1 Canada Qbank questions are long and often not reflective of the exam itself, so they should only be used as a learning tool. Use the practice tests provided by the MCC to gage the style of questions you should expect on the real test. Would recommend use of Canada Qbank to those preparing to sit the MCCQE1. 3. Thrilled with my result on the MCCQE1; surpassed personal goals.

I qualified MB ChB in 2004, then worked mostly as a rural GP / hospitalist until 2015. Then started radiology residency. I've been studying a lot for our local radiology fellowship exams, taken in 2019. To gain eligibility for the RCPSC diagnostic radiology exams, I had to pass the MCCQE Part I. I studied 1-2 hours per day on average for 10 weeks prior to taking the MCCQE Part I. The Qbank YouTube videos are pure gold, and I'll refer to them in future. I tried to balance MCQ with CDM's, but probably got through only about 25% of the Qbank content. I rate this the hardest exam (or least well I've prepared for an exam) I've ever taken; you would do well not underestimate it. I would have preferred 6 months to prepare for this.

I studied medicine in Iran and have 2 years of work experience as a general practitioner in Iran. Canada Q bank was really helpful for my success in Australian Medical Council MCQ. Actually, it helped me organise my knowledge and reminded me small but very important points which I used to forget. I passed the AMC MCQ with a high score and my performance in each category ( surgery, medicine, paediatrics,...) was in the top 25%. If I want to take any other exam, I will definitely go for Canada Q bank. thanks.

I am an International medical graduate from Libya. I graduated from the faculty of medicine University of Almargeb. I worked as a general practitioner for 5 years. I did the MCCQE1 but I failed. However, when I used Canada qbank, I passed the exam. . Although the Canada qbank questions is not the same as in the actual exam, studying Canadaqbank provide very useful exam skills. It gives you a very good experience on how you manage your time as well as a huge experience on how to approach the exam questions correctly. Canada Q bank is extremely helpful resource for preparing for the MCCQE1.

IMG studying for MCCQE1. Purchased 3 months subscription. Excellent resource to use. I particularly liked the CDM as the explanations provided were quite thorough and enabled me not just to answer the question at hand but also to read around the topic. I passed my exam on first attempt which was fantastic. I was particularly worried as an IMG but Qbank made me build my confidence in 3 months.

I qualified as a doctor in the UK in 2004 and as a family doctor in 2010. I have experience in ED and anaesthesia also. The canadaQbank was excellent for revision because it was concise and accurate and gave excellent explanations that you could learn from. I found the interface very user friendly so you could pick it up and use it at odd times very quickly and efficiently. I'm ecstatic I passed, I should have revised more but I'm glad I got through! :-)

I'm a UK medical graduate with four years of general medical experience, one year of HIV clinical trials research experience and an MSc in Tropical Medicine. I'm currently preparing to move to Canada to undertake residency in Medical Microbiology. CanadaQBank helped me prepare for the MCCQE Part 1 exam, which is a prerequisite for IMG residency applications, as I was unfamiliar with the format and style of questions. It served as a good revision tool and helped me to pass the exam on the first attempt, bringing me one step closer to achieving my goal of moving to and practicing in Canada.

I am a junior doctor from the Netherlands and I graduated from the university of Groningen. I am moving to Australia soon and to get my medical registration in Australia I needed to pass the Australian Medical Council Multiplechoice questions (AMC MCQ) test. Since it had been about a year and half after I graduated university and I worked as a junior doctor in the field of internal medicine, it had been a while since I studied topics like surgery, psychiatry, or gynaecology. There was not enough time to read through all my old studybooks, so I had to find another way to study these topics.I was desperate to find an efficiënt way to study for this test. Luckily I found CanadaQbank. By coincidence I came across CanadaQbank while I was searching google. By doing all the simulated question and reading through the explanations I quickly regained a good understanding of certain topics that had slipped away over the past few years and it also helped me understand the vocabulary and grammar used in the questions since English is not my native language. With the help of CanadaQbank I managed to pass the AMC MCQ.

I am an IMG with years of experience in my field. Canaqbank has always been my friend through my Canadian path for licensure. I have used it for my MCCEE and my QE1 exams and passed thankfully. I did use it for quite a shorter time than expected for QE1 but it was worth it after all. The QE part 1 exam did change its structure and canadaqbank tried its best to change the questions structure in line with the introduced MCC changes. I feel great and I hope I pass my QE part 2 with the help of this wonderful website like I did with the last two.
